VANCOUVER, British Columbia—February 4, 2010—Ben Lotfi, President of SpiceBox Product Development Ltd takes pleasure in announcing that The Book Studio, formerly a British based children’s publishing division of Penguin Group UK, has been acquired and will be merged with SpiceBox’s Vancouver operations.
Already an important publisher of popular children’s books and products that focus on skills and early learning for young children, the over 300 titles from The Book Studio will catapult SpiceBox to a major leading role in children’s book publishing.
Operating as a division of SpiceBox, The Book Studio will continue to distribute an even wider product line in over 25 countries and the combined network will see a significant expansion to many other countries in the world.
SpiceBox’s remarkable growth has been fueled by a standard of excellence in innovative product development and a commitment to providing diverse products for the trade and retail markets around the globe.
